Community Activities
Charis works in cooperation with the South Atlanta Civic League to help build and organize the community around common hopes and goals. Essential to this work is strong relationships among neighbors and a key focus to the master plan of South Atlanta.
Current Community Activities
- Charis’ Community Development Department (CCDD) keeps a current South Atlanta map.
- CCDD updates a neighborhood resource manual available to current residents and new neighbors.
- CCDD organizes neighborhood clean-up projects. Contact Christy (christy null@null chariscommunity NULL.org) to get involved.
- CCDD facilitates creation of neighborhood watches.
- CCDD is developing a neighborhood directory.
- South Atlanta Civic League meetings occur monthly. CCDD is present as well as a number of our intentional neighbors.
